What is a non furling pivot?
Every one of our large flags come with a non-furling feature built into the flag. This allows the flag pole to be inserted though the built in sleeve and this allows the flag to rotate around the pole without getting tangled up.

How does the Wind Speed Flag work?
The flag consists of three separate panels which are all weighted differently. As the wind speed increases, it begins to make the individual panels fly. For example, when the windspeed is 8 mph, the top panel will begin to fly, and at 16 mph the second panel will also begin to fly and finally at 24 mph or greater, the third panel will begin to fly.

Yes, the flag was designed to be easily mounted on an existing flag pole using flag snap hooks (available from Windgear).
